OUR HISTORY

Based in the Basque Country since 2007, Pain Traiteur manufactures large sheets of bread for the RHF. Our head office is located in Navarre.


The adventure begins with the meeting of the American continent and old Europe. For the story, our know-how comes from Argentina with “El Pan de Miga” and we have associated it with our perfect knowledge of French baking techniques to develop our recipes! The alliance of these two richnesses dating back more than 100 years gave birth to Pain Traiteur.


We manufacture today with a minimalist recipe of ingredients in order to perpetuate the pure baking tradition. Our conventional and organic product ranges are 100% crustless and maxi format (300mmx400mm)

comprising a maximum of 8 ingredients without preservatives.

We are proud of the quality of our products which is reflected in the BRC and IFS certifications. This is part of our CSR approach, an essential commitment that we want to have with our customers.

Our Clean Label approach

After having meticulously selected our raw materials, our supply is made within a maximum radius of 30 km from the production site. Our approach is reflected in the development of minimalist recipes including a maximum of 8 ingredients without preservatives, of course!
